Hampton Manor Warwick Wedding of Tom & Emma

We are really not quite sure where to begin with this Wedding of Tom & Emma at Hampton Manor in Solihull.  We could fill pages of text with schtuff about the location and the Wedding.  As always though it is probably best to let the photographs tell more of the story.  So we will try and be brief!  Hampton Manor is a stunning location for a Wedding.  Set in 45 acres of grounds it is a beautifully restored Country Manor.  We could have easily kept Tom & Emma occupied taking photographs for another couple of hours. The ceremony room is decorated with hand painted silk wall covering and the bridal suite is the largest we have had the privilege to work in.  The food was outstanding as was the support of all the staff at Hampton Manor.  We would love to keep going back!

We got this email from Emma ‘They are so amazing it is unreal the work that you did. It means the world to me n Tom and will call you soon to sort out a cd of all the photos and an album that we want if that’s ok. I will pass your name on to every person I can as the work is outstanding!!! Thank you so much you have told the story of our wedding in photos and we will cherish them forever.’

As for the Bride she looked stunning too and although we think Tom is a little shy by nature he was up for anything we suggested on the day.  What is it about the Groomsmen that most seem to like to jump!  Well here is the complete story of Tom & Emma’s Wedding day. Danny & Abi’s Engagement Photoshoot in The Lake District

We set off on Sunday afternoon to meet Danny and Abi for their Engagement photoshoot deep in the heart of The Lake District.  They had travelled over from Malton Yorkshire the day before and stayed overnight, choosing to savour some of the delights of the Lake District landscape.  We will be travelling over to Yorkshire in September next year to capture their very special wedding day.  Abi is a giggler so some of the time we had to ask her to be a little more serious!  Danny is a Marine Biologist and has been working up in the Orkney’s for several months helping the Islanders build Lobster farms.

Whilst we were out with them I pondered on what makes a good or great photograph.  Some photographers may say technical excellence and whilst I understand that is important I think even more than that is capturing the emotion of the moment.  That may be tenderness, intimacy, fun or obvious love.  I hope you agree that all of these emotions are present in this set of images.  You may be interested to know that Schtuff will be exhibiting on the 27th of October at the Wedding Fayre at Broadoaks Country House Hotel near Windermere Cumbria.  If you would like to see our exquisite handmade Albums and a Slideshow of our images please come and say hello.

Wedding Photographers Cumbria with Stephen & Amanda at the Inn On The Lake Ullswater

This is part two of the Blog for Stephen and Amanda’s wedding held at The Inn On The Lake Ullswater Cumbria. They were a fantastic Couple to work with, being very happy to try anything we suggested including a cold dip in the Lake for Amanda!

We have a busy month again ahead of us with bookings for our Photographer Training Day, a commercial photoshoot of Classic Cars to be taken at Holbeck Ghyll Hotel and a Wedding at Barnard Castle in Yorkshire.  Just an extra word about our Training Days which are exceptional value.  We do a one on one day which can be based in our Studio or out on location or a mix of both.  If you research prices on the internet for these type of days they are typically between £500 – £1000 depending on the photographer carrying out the training.  For the rest of this year we are offering this service for just £200.  This fee also includes supply of models for the day and use of all of Schtuff’s lighting equipment.  So if you want to improve or practice please get in touch.  We only have two days left in August and September is fully booked leaving some dates from October to December.

Wedding Photographers Cumbria with Laura at Halecat House & Gardens

This is the second of three Blogs from Halecat House and Garden.  This one features Laura, who recently married, and works for herself as a Wedding Hairdresser.  Whilst we were doing this photoshoot Laura mentioned she had not got any detail shots from her own wedding so we made sure to include some in this blog.  There are of course many great places to get married in the Lake District and we have worked ourselves at many of them on behalf of Brides and Grooms.  Halecat offers something a little different as it is in a unique setting.  Their own description says ‘This elegant late Georgian House is beautifully placed at the head of an ancient wooded valley with wonderful views over Arnside and Morecambe Bay.  It is part of the Witherslack Estate at the southern end of the Lake District.  A very popular area for walkers and wildlife enthusiasts with glorious unspoilt natural mixed woodlands and many sites of Special Scientific Interest.  The House and Garden are now available for self catered holiday lets, events and weddings.’  I can only agree with their comments as it was a lovely place to photograph.  For Wedding Photographers Cumbria aka Schtuff  it turned out to be a great day!

We also have another website which covers far more than weddings, with images fro family, portrait and model portfolio photoshoots we have completed.  To see that follow this link at www.schtuff.co.uk.

Wedding Photographers Cumbria with Abi at Halecat Cumbria

There have been some hot days this last two weeks and this was one of the hottest.  I thought I was melting as I spent three hours in the midday sun photographing Abi and two other Brides which I will feature in blogs to come!  However it was a very rewarding day for us to show what Wedding Photographers Cumbria aka Schtuff Photography can do.  Several people made this a very successful photoshoot to help launch a brand new venue for Wedding Ceremonies and Receptions, Halecat House & Gardens.  Clive from Lancashire Classic Jaguar Hire Ltd brought along two really cool cars, a stunning red E-Type Jaguar and a classic ‘Herbie’ soft top.  Samantha Sharp from Harmony Beauty Therapy, a local business based in Cartmel, came along to apply some innovative make up which I wanted to be bold and colourful.  Laura Tyson, newly married herself, looked after hair styles on the day for three Brides who worked hard as I asked for them to set the poses making the most of our location. Roy from Lakeland Doves supplied, guess what, the white doves!

Steph, who is looking after the development of Halecat as a wedding venue, made sure that the House and Gardens were pristine and as these images show it is a beautiful location for intimate weddings.
